Our Story
Novotx was born when Jason (drums) and Justin (guitar) crossed paths in a country rock band back in the early 2000s. Between late-night sets at the bar, they found themselves diving deep into conversations about software. The band eventually came to an end, but that spark of innovation never did. Novotx was born, and the rest is history.
Today, Novotx is thriving because of the amazing team members who’ve joined us on this adventure. Together, we’re redefining the way technology powers utilities and local governments.

Jason Horspool

The man with the vision, Jason is passionate about drums and Chili’s chicken quesadillas. Before the sun comes up you’ll find him out on a run; during normal human hours you’ll find him either jamming, coding, or out piloting the boat with his wife and kids.
Justin Gough
President, Co-Founder
Primarily overseeing business development, Justin spends his time mountain biking, trail running, camping, fly fishing, and trying to keep up with his five kids, who turn every trip into an extreme sport.

How many people do you know who have crushed a full-distance Ironman? Now you know one more. Jed doesn’t just dabble in adventure, he mainlines it. Mountain biking, trail running, open water swimming… if it sounds exhausting, he’s into it.

A die-hard Packers fan, proud vegetarian, and animal lover, Summer’s been with Novotx since the early days. She’s also a self-proclaimed asset management nerd, proof that spreadsheets and passion can coexist.
Mike Schwab

When he’s not demoing software or closing deals, Mike used to spend weekends racing through mud and logging absurd bike miles. Then he had kids. Now his endurance training is all toddler negotiations and sleep deprivation—still extreme, just less spandex.

This devoted Sacramento Kings fan is watching his team rise and shine this year. When not cheering for his Kings, he’s cheering for his kids.
Rich Dickerson
Sales – South Central Region
Rich moves fast—whether he’s running marathons, crushing triathlons, skiing powder, or chasing his kid around the house. When he’s not out adventuring, he’s helping cities level up with great software.
Michael Boyd
Sales – Eastern US
The “original” Michael at Novotx he spends his days chasing four kids with his wife. When not wrangling the gang, he’s jamming out as an accomplished musician or tackling DIY projects around the house.

You’ve got 99 problems, but broke software ain’t one—not with Robin on the job. When she’s not keeping things running, she’s chasing fresh air, family time, and hugs from kids who are growing up way too fast.

Wrangling three kids and building next-level workflows in Elements and Connect are Mike’s specialties. When he gets a breather, he’s out soaking up the outdoors with his crew.

Kim’s a crafty animal lover who somehow detoured from veterinary school into the world of software. When she’s not helping customers thrive, she’s creating unique collectibles for her Etsy shop and nursing injured animals back to health.

Your go-to guy during an Elements XS rollout, Connor’s all about smooth starts and solid support. Off the clock, you’ll find him chasing trails in the Colorado Rockies, on two wheels or two feet.
